Ever wondered what Crufts is like?

Crufts is over for another year, and what a Crufts it has been. A chance to show our dogs, and meet up with friends from every corner of the country.

It was the first time Wizz had shown on the famous green carpet, amongst the hustle and bustle, the tannoys and the busy atmosphere. I am thrilled to report that she was awarded second place in a competition packed puppy bitch class. At just 11 months old, she took the whole day in her stride and didn’t stop wagging her tail the entire time.
Faida was placed fourth in a champion studded open class of 13 dogs. He always shows like a professional and never let’s me down. I am so proud of my two dogs.

On the Friday, we represented the breed at Discover Dogs. This is a chance to show case the breed, educate the public and squash any of those stereotypes the breed picks up along the way. We have taken part in Discover Dogs several times now, and I think it was the busiest I had ever seen it. Once again, my two beauties never let me down. The received endless attention, Wizz especially, being a long haired weimaraner. One comment that really stuck out to me, was when two young girls asked if I was a raw feeding fan, as both my dogs had such soft, shiny coats. A testament to Cotswold RAW I’d say!
